What is Trees for You and Me?
Trees for You and Me is a national AAZK tree-planting program focused on teaching individuals about climate issues, provides support to plant trees in places that are facing deforestation, and encourages AAZK chapters to raise funds to support the campaign. It was born of a partnership between national AAZK and Polar Bears International.
What does a Trees for You and Me campaign include?
Campaigns can begin on February 1 and run until November 1. Every chapter's campaign looks a little different, but projects can include anything from bake sales to car washes, and educational events to tree planting events. The campaign promotes teaching others about climate change, what we can be doing to reduce the effects of climate change, and encouraging members of the community to get out and plant trees.
